StreamPersona Sub-Second Streaming Pipeline
Natural conversation requires end-to-end response times under 1,000ms. StreamPersona achieves a consistent round-trip latency of 650–850ms across public internet connections.
1. Latency Breakdown
Section titled “1. Latency Breakdown”| Pipeline Stage | Processing Engine | Typical Duration |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Audio Capture & VAD | Web Audio API + Silero VAD | 40ms |
| 2. Streaming ASR | Conformer CTC / Whisper-Large-v3-Turbo | 120ms |
| 3. Conversational Reasoning | CTS Router (DeepSeek-R1 / Claude 3.7) | 220ms (TTFT) |
| 4. Neural Speech Synthesis | FastSpeech2 / StyleTTS2 Streaming | 140ms |
| 5. Neural Blendshape Render | LiveLink Blendshape Generator (CUDA / Metal) | 33ms (per frame) |
| 6. WebRTC Video Encoding | H.264 Hardware Encoder (NVENC) | 15ms |
| Network Transit (Anycast) | Global Edge Points of Presence | 60–120ms |
| Total Round-Trip Latency | End-to-End User Turn | ~628–748ms |
2. Zero-Inbound Streaming Topology
Section titled “2. Zero-Inbound Streaming Topology”All media connections use ICE / STUN / TURN protocols:
- Connections originate outbound from the user’s browser over standard HTTPS and WSS ports (
443). - Enterprise firewalls do not need to allow inbound ports.
- WebRTC media flows over encrypted DTLS-SRTP channels.
